CITY OF UNIVERSAL CITY LEGAL NOTICE The following ordinance, having been read twice, were passed at the Tuesday, August 19, 2025 City Council Meeting. Ordinance 525-Y-2025 An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Universal City, Texas, revising 525-U-2021, Schedule A (Base Rates) as provided in Section 2-3-9 Modification of Rates, Exhibit "A"; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date. Ordinance 670-2025 Reunion Reinvestment Zone No. 1 An ordinance of the City of Universal City, Texas, designating Reunion District Reinvestment Zone No. 1; providing eligibility of the Zone for Tax Abatement; containing findings that the area qualifies to be designated as a Tax Abatement Reinvestment Zone and the improvements sought are feasible and practicable and of benefit to the land and the City; authorizing agreements in writing with the owners of any taxable Real and Tangible Personal Property located within the designated Zone and authorizing the Mayor to execute the same on behalf of the City of Universal City; providing a severability clause; provide a repealing clause; providing an effective date; and providing an open meetings clause. Ordinance 671-2025 Aviation District Reinvestment Zone No. 1 An ordinance of the City of Universal City, Texas, designating Aviation District Reinvestment Zone No. 1; providing eligibility of the Zone for Tax Abatement; containing findings that the area qualifies to be designated as a Tax Abatement Reinvestment Zone and the improvements sought are feasible and practicable and of benefit to the land and the City; authorizing agreements in writing with the owners of any taxable Real and Tangible Personal Property located within the designated Zone and authorizing the Mayor to execute the same on behalf of the City of Universal City; providing a severability clause; provide a repealing clause; providing an effective date; and providing an open meetings clause. Ordinance 308-D-2025 An ordinance amending Ordinance 308 and Chapter 3-4 - Traffic of the Code of Ordinances, updating Stop Intersections. The following ordinances, having been read once, will be considered further at the Tuesday, September 02, 2025 City Council Meeting. Ordinance 544-C-2025 An ordinance of the City of Universal City Code of Ordinances to repeal in its entirety Section 1-4-2 Competitive Bids Policy/Exceptions from the Code of Ordinances; to amend in its entirety Section 1-4-4 Expenditures/Bidding; to ratify the adoption of the 2024 Purchase Policy and provide for repealer, severability, open meetings and setting an effective date.
